Music is subjective. And nowadays, it is very rare that a single artist, composer, musician, producer, it the sole person behind a song. Usually, there’s an entire team – sometimes even a huge one – involved.
In software development, agile project management is an iterative, flexible approach to project delivery, grounded in the understanding that change is inevitable, and that embracing it early creates a meaningful advantage.
Similarly, we try out different versions of every song we make. More drums. Less bass. More cowbells. We listen to it together, and tweak it until we’re happy.
There’s no single path to a song.
