My very first attempt of writing lyrics in English turned out to be harder than I anticipated, despite my English knowledge is quite good. As I started recording the song, I realized the lyrics caused the verses to loose tempo before the choruses, instead of building up to the hook.

Menace intrudes on the mind of the weak
Intentions are good – I think am meek
Threatening words appear as I speak
With harm and despair, I’m more like a freak

The truth remains unseen, the lie remains untold
The hope is still a dream, my thoughts are uncontrolled

Chorus

No matter what I do
No matter what’s been done

Whatever harm I’ve made
Still cannot be undone

Whiteness of snow in Darkness of night
Cascading beams of soduim light
Scared all alone, trying to fight
Nothings been seen, but fear’s still in sight

The youth retains a dream, the old retains a hope
Future unforeseen, sealed in an envelope

Chorus

No matter what I do
No matter what’s been done

How can I retreat
When I haven’t won?

The freak in the mirror mortifies me
What have I done, why couldn’t I see
Forgive me, I shout, I beg and I plea
Blind as a bat, I flee to the sea

The midnight moon in the dark, my shadows disappear
A new trip to embark, I find a new frontier

Bridge

When I trust my fortitude
I will find my solitude

Chorus

No matter what I do
No matter what’s been done

All good deeds remain
As I outshine the sun

Bridge

Serenity gives strength to assist
When my fears are dismissed

Chorus (repeat last)
